Editorial, Source & Rights Policy

SriGuruKrupa publishes respectful, source-aware Sanatana Dharma content for learning, devotional practice, pilgrimage and family life. Technology and AI may assist drafting, translation, indexing and structure; responsible human review remains essential for mantra, ritual, historical and lineage material.

What kind of statement are you reading?

We distinguish: scriptural teaching, traditional chronology, institutional lineage record, historical scholarship, disciple testimony or hagiography, and modern clinical or social research. These sources answer different questions and should not be silently blended.

Sacred lives, miracles and quotations

Ancient rishis did not leave modern autobiographies. Their lives may come through Veda and Upanishad references, Itihasa–Purana narrative, matha chronicles, oral tradition, disciple records and later biography. Miracle accounts are labelled as sacred tradition, remembered testimony or hagiography unless independent historical evidence exists. A powerful teaching story need not be misrepresented as a modern news report. Quotations should be traced to a text, recorded talk or responsible institution before being presented as exact words.

Tradition and variation

Practice varies by Veda, shakha, sutra, family, region, sampradaya and temple. SriGuruKrupa does not present one local custom as the only valid Hindu practice. Vedic svara, mantra-diksha, advanced nyasa, homa and family-specific Sandhyavandana require competent lineage guidance.

“Science behind” and health claims

Ritual theology, symbolism, community meaning and clinical evidence are separate lenses. Where yoga, meditation, fasting, fire, food, smoke or hygiene affect health, we use conservative public-health guidance and state uncertainty. Spiritual observance is never advertised as a guaranteed cure. Visitors should seek qualified medical care and adapt fasting, posture, breath or other practices for age, pregnancy, disability and health conditions.

Sacred texts, PDF links and copyright

An ancient Sanskrit source may be public domain while a modern translation, typesetting, illustration, audio performance or scan remains copyrighted. SriGuruKrupa links to official institutions, authorized publishers and responsible text repositories; it does not rehost a third-party PDF merely because it is discoverable online. Each external resource remains governed by its source’s rights and terms.

Children and digital wellbeing

Children’s material avoids infinite feeds, forced audio and manipulative engagement. Short stories are designed for caregiver co-viewing and an off-screen follow-up. No story replaces active play, sleep, family conversation or age-appropriate education.

Spiritual and professional guidance

The website is educational and devotional. It does not replace qualified gurus, acharyas, purohitas, teachers, healthcare or legal professionals, nor a family’s established tradition. Healthy guidance respects questions, consent, personal safety and family responsibility.

Travel and service information

Routes, darshan access, accommodation, fees, availability, timings and policies change. Pooja and venue details—including practitioner, vidhi, capacity, accessibility, materials, food, date and cost—also depend on the confirmed requirement. Exact scope and third-party conditions must be recorded before payment, ritual preparation or journey commitment. SriGuruKrupa does not guarantee spiritual, medical, financial or legal outcomes.

Temple directory and financial information

The Temples of India directory distinguishes documented history from sacred tradition and uncertain chronology. “Powerful” is treated as devotional language, not a measurable ranking. Temple income, donations, trust budgets, grants and the finances of a board managing many institutions are not interchangeable. We publish a number only when its scope, period and official source are clear; otherwise the entry says that a comparable temple-specific audited annual figure was not located. Sevas, entry rules, routes and accommodation must be reconfirmed on the linked official source.
