Sanatana Grantha Bhandara

A Sacred Text & Parayana Library built for reverence—and responsible reading.

Open trusted texts, understand why they matter, learn a suitable reading approach and see the caution that protects pronunciation, lineage, copyright and wellbeing.

A simple, safe parayana framework

Prepare · Resolve · Read · Reflect · Complete

Prepare: choose a clean, quiet time and a reliable edition. Resolve: keep a modest sankalpa suited to your health and duties. Read: follow a sustainable daily portion with attention to meaning. Reflect: note one value to practise. Complete: offer gratitude and, where possible, charity or seva. Advanced nyasa, Vedic svara, homa and lineage-specific vows require a qualified teacher.

Text

Choose the right edition

Sanskrit text, transliteration and translation serve different needs. Compare difficult passages and record the edition used.

Voice

Pronunciation is learned by listening

Especially for Veda, a silent PDF cannot convey living svara, breath, pause and correction.

Life

Parayana is not a transaction

Read with devotion and reflection; avoid fear-based guarantees of money, cure, marriage or other outcomes.

15 reviewed starting points

Scripture, daily practice, stotra and Guru Charitre

Every card explains importance, a reading path, caution and the external source. Links open in a new tab; SriGuruKrupa does not silently copy third-party scans.

Why some resources are links rather than hosted PDFs

The ancient Sanskrit text may be public domain while a modern translation, typesetting, audio recording or scan remains copyrighted. We link to institutions and authorized books, keep attribution, and avoid rehosting uncertain files. Nitya Devatarchana and family-specific Sandhyavandana need the correct Veda, shakha, sutra and sampradaya—not a one-size-fits-all download.

Important: Manusmriti is presented as one historical Dharmashastra among several—not modern Indian law or the sole voice of Sanatana Dharma. Durga Saptashati’s advanced nyasa and homa, and Vedic svara recitation, should be learned through a qualified lineage.
